About
Anu Gunn directs, shoots, edits and hosts. Over twenty years he has covered live events for Fortune 500 sponsors where there is no second take, directed concert films and tour content for two-time Academy Award winner A.R. Rahman (one distributed on Netflix, one screened at the White House), and cut commercials, music videos and narrative features.
He ran video and photography for Hispanicize for five years, building shot lists, directing multi-camera crews and photographers across simultaneous stages, and turning the day's footage into recaps and short-form content the same night. He also came up with the on-site activations, photo booths and experiential capture setups that gave sponsors shareable attendee content.
On the audience side, he built the social content strategy that grew Rahman's Facebook following from 600,000 to 2.3 million in four months, and ran the media and content campaign that charted a VH1 Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp band for 13 weeks.
He shoots Canon, RED, Blackmagic and Sony, flies a drone, and finishes in DaVinci Resolve, Premiere, Final Cut and After Effects. Based in Los Angeles, available for travel.
